Getting started

Open cPanel from your hosting account

Use the customer portal to launch the control panel for the correct hosting service.

Prerequisites

You need an active cPanel hosting service and an account permitted to access it. A pending or suspended service may not have control-panel access. VerbumCMS uses its own editor.

Launch the control panel

  1. Sign in to Catholic Web Hosting.
  2. Open Hosting Plans and select the correct hosting service.
  3. Find the hosting control-panel section and select Launch cPanel SSO.
  4. Allow the new tab or window to open. The portal requests a temporary sign-in link for that service.

Do not share the generated sign-in URL. Sign out of cPanel and the portal when using a shared device.

Find a tool

Use cPanel's search to find a feature such as File Manager, Domains, or Backup Wizard. Tool names and availability depend on your server version, theme, and hosting plan.

If sign-in fails

Check that you chose a cPanel service and that your browser allowed the new window. Sign back in to the portal and try again. If the service is active but the request still fails, open a support ticket with the service domain, time, and displayed error. Do not include passwords or a temporary sign-in link.
