Check HTTPS and certificate status

Review the certificate for the correct domain and investigate HTTPS warnings.

Check the domain first

Open the exact HTTPS address visitors use. Note whether the problem affects the main domain, www, or another hostname. Confirm DNS points to the intended hosting service before trying to replace certificates.

Review cPanel certificate status

Open SSL/TLS Status in cPanel; some versions show it inside SSL/TLS Certificates. Search for the domain and inspect its certificate and reported status. Feature availability and automated certificate management depend on the server configuration.

An unsecured, expired, or mismatched certificate needs investigation. If the domain resolves elsewhere, fix the routing with the responsible provider before expecting that server's certificate to work. Existing CAA records can affect issuance; ask support before changing an organization's certificate policy.

Verify the result

Test the correct domain and www if used over HTTPS. A valid certificate does not fix insecure image or script URLs inside a page. If a warning persists, send support the exact URL, browser message, and time. Do not ask visitors to bypass certificate warnings.
